| The National Watercolor Society, founded in 1920, has accepted Eugene as a Signature member. The jury of selection, in a separate proceeding, has viewed his work and approved him for Signature Member status.
Eugene's work, Country Musicians, will be exhibited in the 86th Annual National Watercolor Exhibition October 21, 2006. The luncheon to honor the artists will be held on October 21, at the Fullerton, California Marriott Hotel prior to the opening of the Annual Exhibition.
The opening Reception of the 86th Annual Exhibition will be at the Muckenthaler Cultural Center following the luncheon. |

The painting, Pick-up-Game, a 14 1/2 X 19" watercolor, was one of the 82 paintings selected by John T. Salminen, NWS, AWS, DF, from the 500 slides received for the 36th International Exhibition of The Louisiana Watercolor Society. The opening reception was in New Orleans, Louisiana at Place St. Charles.
Pick-up-Game is a street action painting of a game in progress which takes place on Grand Street in downtown Kansas City, Missouri. The building in the background shows the NCAA mural and logo for Reebok. This warehouse building is adjacent to the new sports arena in Kansas City. |

Bus#55 , was accepted for exhibition into the Kansas Watercolor Society 35th Annual Great 8 Exhibition July 3 to September 17, 2006 at the Wichita Art Museum, 1400 Museum Blvd. Wichita, Kansas.
Carla O'Conner AWS, NWS , nationally recognized judge and signature member of the American Watercolor Society, National Watercolor Society, and a AWS Dolphin Fellow will be the juror.
Bus#55 , a 14 1/2 X 17 watercolor, depicts a city bus in SanFrancisco, with the passengers deeply engrossed in their personal thoughts, with no interaction taking place between them as they ride together across town. |
